Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and develop electrical systems, including circuit boards, power supplies, and communication systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
  • Develop and implement testing and validation procedures to ensure electrical systems meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Work with suppliers to source and qualify electrical components and materials.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical system architectures and design standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on hardware development and systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, power electronics, and communication systems.
  • Experience with design tools, such as CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with FPGA and ASIC design, as well as low-power electronics.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, layout, and grounding principles.
  • Experience with DFx (EMC, EMI, reliability, manufacturability, test, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, such as C, C++, and Python.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
