Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Technician. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, collecting plasma from donors, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Exceptional Customer Service: Greet and interact with donors, answer phone calls, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
- Medical History Records: Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs, and maintain accurate records using our Donor Information System.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance our center's operations.
- Supportive Teamwork: Collaborate with your management team and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Phlebotomy: Learn to operate and maintain state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 5 pounds, with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 pounds.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Experience in a Regulated Environment: Previous experience working in a regulated environment, such as a hospital or lab, is preferred.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
