Clinical Analyst for Veterans Equitable Resource Allocation

About the Role:
This position is part of the Veterans Health Administration, a leading healthcare organization that serves the nation's veterans. As a Clinical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing resource allocation within the VERA capitated funding model.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement analytics solutions to support population management and population health initiatives.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve data capture and accuracy using medical coding and documentation principles.
* Develop and maintain resource allocation models to enhance tracking and management of patient workload analysis.
* Utilize Microsoft suite, including Excel, to build reports and drive decision-making.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or a related field, or a master's degree in a related field with a BSN.
* At least 2 years of professional nursing experience, with one year equivalent to Nurse I, Level III or higher.
* Expert knowledge of medical coding, workload capture, and data management processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
