Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the golf course grounds, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and driving ranges, to ensure optimal playing conditions.
  • Operate and maintain a range of equipment, including mowers, tractors, and specialized machinery.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and servicing equipment, inspecting facilities, and reporting any issues to the Golf Course Superintendent or Supervisor.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve course conditions, reduce waste, and promote sustainability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to golfers, visitors, and stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., turf management, horticulture, mechanics) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
