Job Overview:
The Customer Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in providing an outstanding experience for all members, potential members, and visitors at Planet Fitness by offering top-notch customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome members, potential members, and visitors with exceptional service.
- Manage front desk operations including phone inquiries, member check-ins, and new member registrations.
- Conduct facility tours for potential members.
- Assist with account modifications and address member questions in a professional manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- A strong interest in fitness and wellness.
- Positive demeanor and dependability.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts.
- Engaging in conversations over the phone or in person.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals.
All employees receive a complimentary Black Card membership after a specified period of employment.
