We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a travel nurse in Portsmouth, NH. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIH.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
- Evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions
- Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs
- Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being
- Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Current RN licensure in the US
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIH certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
