Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management and administration of SAP security, developing robust security policies and procedures.
  • Analyze complex security challenges and apply established protocols, determining when deviations are necessary.
  • Lead compliance inspection teams to ensure adherence to the National Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related directives.
  • Review and approve Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and provide guidance on classification and declassification processes.
  • Ensure compliance with physical security standards and oversee the accreditation of SAP facilities.
  • Establish and implement policies for processing program access requests for personnel.
  • Conduct security education and training for all personnel involved with SAPs.
  • Manage the Top-Secret Control Officer Account and coordinate security support for program meetings and working groups.
  • Maintain knowledge of OPSEC principles and assist in the development of Program Protection Plans (PPP).

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience as a Program Security Officer, with at least 5 years in acquisition SAPs. A strong writing ability is essential, along with a Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Security Requirements:

Must hold a Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and effectively communicate with peers and senior personnel.
