Exciting Pediatric Neurology Position Available

  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Full-time faculty role as an Academic Neurologist within the Pediatrics Department
    • Open to candidates with interests in general child neurology and subspecialties such as epilepsy or neuromuscular disorders
    • Work alongside a skilled team including a child neurologist, pediatric nurse practitioners, part-time attendings, a neuropsychologist, a psychologist, and a social worker, all supported by excellent nursing and administrative staff
    • Be part of the sole children's hospital in the northeastern region with comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support and an affiliated adult neurology department
    • Engage in an active epilepsy surgery program with potential for pediatric expansion
    • Opportunities to mentor and collaborate with medical students and house staff in Neurology and Pediatrics, with academic rank aligned with qualifications
    • Access to a large, experienced team of specialized nurses, dieticians, and social workers
    • Located within a Level 1 Trauma Center with a 60-bed NICU, 19-bed PICU, and a new Pediatric Emergency Room
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified status in Pediatric Neurology is required
    • Active New York License and DEA preferred but not mandatory
