- Full-time faculty role available as an Academic Neurologist within the Pediatrics Department.
- We welcome candidates with interests in general child neurology and those possessing subspecialty training in areas such as epilepsy or neuromuscular disorders.
- The division is supported by a team of experienced professionals including a child neurologist, pediatric nurse practitioners, part-time attendings, a neuropsychologist, a psychologist, and a social worker, all backed by excellent nursing and administrative resources.
- Be part of the only dedicated children's hospital in the northeastern region with comprehensive support from pediatric subspecialists and an affiliated adult neurology department featuring active divisions in epilepsy, neuromuscular conditions, vascular issues, and movement disorders.
- Engage with an active epilepsy surgery program and explore opportunities to expand services in pediatrics.
- The ideal candidate will have the chance to interact with medical students and house staff within the Neurology and Pediatrics Departments, with an academic rank aligned with their qualifications.
- Join a large, skilled team of specialized nurses, dieticians, and social workers.
- Work in a prominent Medical Center, recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Facility includes a 60-bed NICU, a 19-bed PICU, and a newly established Pediatric Emergency Room.
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Neurology is mandatory.
- Possession of an active NY License and DEA is preferred but not required.
