Maintenance Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at C&W Services. As a key member of our Operations Maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Your expertise in electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics will be essential in designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring service technicians and contract technicians.
Responsibilities- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
- Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Operations facility
- Develop training plans for service technicians
- Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls
- 5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics
- 5+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance
- 5 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics
- 5 + years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs
- 3+ years of work order management
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 4+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- Previous leadership experience
- Previous vendor management experience
- Experience with robotic maintenance
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment
Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required PPE, which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
Regularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment
Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day
Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
Regularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day

The compensation for the position is: $38.28
