Director of Quality Assurance
Lennox International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our team. As a critical member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term quality strategy for our Commercial business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality strategy that aligns with our business objectives and educates stakeholders on its importance.
- Champion quality excellence by providing tools and metrics to support improvement initiatives and driving processes that define and detect quality issues.
- Lead comprehensive implementation plans for achieving quality objectives and establish quantitative quality objectives based on customer and market requirements.
- Define systems for measurement, feedback, and utilization of quality data that supports improvement programs and identifies, validates, and leads manufacturing process improvements.
- Establish a closed-loop quality issues resolution process that ensures all identified quality issues are prioritized, assigned ownership, and resolved in an expeditious manner.
- Direct leadership responsibility for the quality department, including Quality Managers and Quality Engineers, and define and lead the deployment of training programs needed to support quality initiatives.
- Drive change management and employee involvement to support continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide liaison with customers in resolving quality issues and build an effective quality team committed to organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Proven Lean Strategic Planning and execution with at least 6-10 years of Staff level leadership experience.
- Manages the hiring, direction, assessment, and development of the Quality team members and able to motivate and lead teams to achieve goals.
- Champion the Commercial culture and drive an environment of accountability, open communication, and high ethical standards.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that result in effective communications and exceptional presentation skills to senior executives.
- Certification in Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred and experience utilizing a wide array of Lean Six Sigma tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance with an advanced degree preferred and significant Lean/Sigma experience and knowledge of Lean analytics.
