Job Title: Commercial Pool Repair Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Pool Repair Technician to join our team at One Stop Pool Pros Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various pool equipment and components, including pumps, filters, heaters, and control systems. They will also be responsible for implementing preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Diagnosis and Repair: Conduct thorough assessments to identify issues with pool equipment and systems, perform repairs and replacements of malfunctioning components, and work with electrical systems (120v / 240v, 3 phase, low voltage, and control circuits).
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate, regularly inspect and maintain pool equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety, and conduct leak detection.
  • Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot pool equipment issues on-site, analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities, and provide detailed reports on the status of pool equipment and any recommended repairs or upgrades.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and explain repair processes, provide excellent customer service, and ensure client satisfaction through efficient and effective repairs.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing repairs and maintenance, identify potential safety hazards, and take appropriate corrective actions.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a pool equipment repair technician or in a similar role within the commercial pool industry.
  • Technical certification or equivalent experience in pool equipment repair, CPO.
  • Strong understanding of commercial pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of pool construction methods and pool chemistry is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
