Bookkeeper/Accountant Position

Responsibilities:
  • Issue checks for firm- and case-expenses
  • Oversee the Operating Account and Escrow/IOLTA Account
  • Track firm expenses and run reports as needed
  • Process payroll through our third-party vendor, ADP
  • Participate in budgeting and expense discussions
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure past-transactions are logged
  • Prepare tax documents, including obtaining and issuing W9s
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Quicken accounting software or ability to learn
  • Familiarity with computer systems and programs
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
  • Exceptional organizational and mathematical skills
  • At least 3 years' experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or other position with significant financial responsibilities
Additional Considerations:
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged (English and Spanish, Amharic, Arabic, Pashtun, etc.)
Compensation:

Salary ranging from $40,000 to $60,000, DOE. Other benefits include PTO and a retirement plan with employer match.
