We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to support our growth in the restaurant sector.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Specialist at Beck Automotive, you will be instrumental in managing and supervising the payroll process for our restaurant clients. Your knowledge of restaurant payroll regulations will be vital to ensure compliance and precision in all payroll activities. You will handle payroll processing, manage related administrative duties, and provide valuable insights to enhance payroll operations.
- Payroll Management: Accurately process payroll for various restaurant clients, including both hourly and salaried employees.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations specific to the restaurant sector, including tip reporting and overtime calculations.
- Record Maintenance: Keep precise and confidential payroll records, including timekeeping, deductions, and garnishments.
- Reporting Duties: Generate and review payroll reports, including tax filings and employee benefits, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and any payroll-related issues in a timely manner.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed on changes in payroll laws and regulations affecting the restaurant industry, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with HR and management teams to support payroll-related initiatives and provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in payroll processing, with a strong emphasis on the restaurant industry.
- Education: AA-Degree or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of restaurant payroll laws, including tip credits, overtime regulations, and state-specific rules.
- Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and meticulousness in all payroll processing tasks.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to identify and resolve payroll issues efficiently and professionally.
- Certification: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or similar certification is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Capability to foster and maintain positive employee relationships.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Maintain a professional business appearance.
- Self-motivated and an effective team player.
- Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.

- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
