We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist PRN to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist PRN, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing:
- Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members prior to exams.
- Position patients to correct anatomical areas of interest.
- Patient Care:
- Use multidisciplinary, team-oriented actions.
- Assess and recognize patients' emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
- Adjust technical factors.
- Operate, care for, and maintain equipment.
- Professional Accountability and Partnership:
- Maintain and enhance technical skills and technology advancements.
- Perform assignments deemed necessary by supervisors.
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 2 years in nuclear medicine preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine upon hire required.
- CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire required.
- CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
