About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join our team at Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software, SolidWorks, and SketchUp.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure designs are accurate, feasible, and meet project specifications.
  • Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
  • Analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
  • Supervise progress of development projects.
  • Collaborate with design groups to change plans if problems arise.
  • Identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
  • Collaborate with operations departments to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Share problems and solutions with project engineers from other plants.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks or other related 3D rendering software.
  • Strong electrical circuitry knowledge.
  • Availability to work standard business hours.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
