Radiation Oncology Dosimetrist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Dosimetrist to join our team at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. As a Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing radiation therapy treatment plans for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and generate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and manual calculations.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex treatment planning issues.
- Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure the accuracy and safety of treatment plans.
- Provide technical support to the medical physicist and radiation oncology team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in medical dosimetry or related field.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Current and valid certification as a qualified medical dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
- At least one year of experience with Eclipse and ARIA.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
