ER Nurse for a Critical Access Hospital

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, a community hospital serving Mitchell, Yancey, lower Avery and upper McDowell counties in North Carolina. Our hospital offers a range of medical specialties, including emergency services, prenatal and postnatal obstetrical care, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, nuclear medicine and walk-in, non-emergency care at Mission My Care Now Spruce Pine.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate ER nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our team of healthcare professionals. As an ER nurse, you will be responsible for providing leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position. Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
- One year of hospital and/or ER RN experience.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC and CPI.
