Kids Dental Brands is excited to present a full-time position for an Orthodontic Care Assistant. We are a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the lives of children through exceptional dental care.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: CDA or RDA is mandatory; X-RAY certification is advantageous.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience is not necessary, but Dental Assistant certification is required.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday
SALARY: Starting at $14.50 per hour and above
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION: Potential for up to $300 in bonuses each month
Comprehensive benefits including healthcare (medical, dental, vision), 401k, paid holidays, and paid time off are available for eligible team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Orthodontist chair-side, providing patient care and performing general laboratory tasks.
- Prepare and take patient impressions.
- Replace rubber bands, wires, and brackets as needed.
- Adjust clear aligners, including Invisalign, for optimal fit.
- Conduct and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices to promote dental health.
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their treatment experience.
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients.
