As a vital member of the Flight Crew, you will assist in addressing the physical and emotional needs of critically ill and injured patients, while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Flight For Life.

Qualifications:
To embody the spirit of humankindness in the workplace, qualified candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years or 4,000 hours of experience as a Paramedic provider in 911 ALS or critical care transport (ground or air), or 4,000 hours of critical care experience in a hospital setting.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Colorado State Paramedic Certification and National Registry as a paramedic are mandatory, with the obligation to maintain current certifications by CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems).
- Basic Life Support & Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications through the American Heart Association are required.
- PALS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
- TPATC or ATLS certification is required within 12 months of hire/transfer date.
- NRP certification is required within 12 months of hire/transfer date.
- FP-C certification is required within 2 years of hire/transfer date.
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work - ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Flight For Life Colorado provides critical care transport with five helicopters, three ambulances, and three airplanes operating throughout the region.

We also support search and rescue operations with specialized services, including aerial search assistance and our Avalanche Deployment Program.
