Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and establish treatment plans for patients referred to Occupational Therapy
  • Maintain productivity levels at department targets
  • Remain competent in standardized testing, therapeutic exercise, ADL training, cognitive skills, and wheelchair transfers
  • Attend and provide continuing education in-servicing
  • Serve as a mentor for new employees or volunteers
  • Complete documentation according to regulations and in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current state license based on facility location
  • CPR certification
  • Competency in assessment and treatment of neonates/infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
