About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC/R Installation Foreman to join our team at CoolSys. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the installation of HVAC/R systems for our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Manage project labor hours and request change orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or a related industry/trade.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours.
  • Ability to organize tasks, use good judgment, and make work assignments.
  • Ability to give clear instructions and guidance, and maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits.
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and comply with safety policies.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of punctuality and dependability.
  • Ability to use computer tools, including email, word processing, and project planning software.
