Responsibilities:- Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, providing expert advice on network infrastructure and security solutions.
- Sales calls: Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers and partners on network features, specifications, and functionality.
- Post-sales: Lead technical contact for identified accounts, working closely with the technical support team and engineering to resolve customer technical issues.
- 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
- 5-7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
- Proven understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
- Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
- Exceptional presentation skills.

Fortinet offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $240,000 per year, plus commissions based on the Sales Compensation Plan. All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program.
