About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Spectrum Vision Partners. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of eye care procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setup and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures, providing support and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in ophthalmology.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited program for surgical techniques or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and their appropriate uses.
  • 1+ year working in an operating room environment, preferably as a surgical technician.
  • Certification or training in ophthalmology surgical techniques preferred.
