About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Spectrum Vision Partners. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of eye care procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setup and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and execution of procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in ophthalmic surgery.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment maintenance.
  • 1+ year of experience in an operating room environment, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • Certification or training in ophthalmic surgical techniques preferred.
