Job Title: Account Director

At IPG Mediabrands, we are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead and oversee our account management team, ensuring client satisfaction and the successful delivery of media services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations and strategic discussions.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and media objectives.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Recommend targeted, innovative media vehicles consistent with media strategies.
  • Develop and implement account management strategies to achieve business objectives and client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts and collaborate with the sales team to drive new business.
  • Develop POV's to keep client informed on industry trends.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless service and performance delivery.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Analyze account data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in account management or client services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably at a digital or full-service agency.
  • Strong working understanding of the Paid Social platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing large accounts and delivering successful client outcomes.
  • Agency and/or Commerce media experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
  • Ability to manage cross-device and cross-channel addressable marketing campaigns.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
