At Brightview Health Careers, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based therapy to individuals struggling with substance abuse.
Responsibilities:- Clinical Care:
- Develop and lead group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create treatment plans and review progress.
- Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques to support patients.
- Establish treatment plans at the individual patient level.
- Deliver primarily independent therapy sessions for patients with Substance Use Disorder.
- Demonstrate competency in individual counseling.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
- Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings, supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Manage a caseload of patients effectively.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
- Ensure adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Provide training and onboarding support for new hire Counselor I.
- Offer training and mentorship support for new hire counselors within the site or adjacent clinics.
- Experience:
- Required: 1+ year experience as Counselor I or other relevant experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years' experience in relevant field.
- Education:
- Required: Consistent with state-level regulation and requirements, at minimum a Masters Degree.
- Preferred: Masters Degree.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- REQUIRED: Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements.
- Licensure preferred: LSW, LPC, MFT, LPCC, LICDC, LISW, LMFT.
- PTO (Paid Time Off)

- Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP).

We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment dedicated to your professional growth and development. Compensation Range Based on Skills & Experience: $55,000 - $60,000.00 annually.
