We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team at Christian Living Communities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care to our Assisted Living residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate each resident's clinical needs and develop personalized care plans
- Manage and coordinate physician orders, including labs, prescriptions, and other clinical needs
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident information and updates
- Collaborate with direct care staff to provide exceptional clinical support and guidance
- Participate in care conferences with families and residents to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement wellness programs to promote resident health and well-being
- Manage and coordinate ancillary care services, as directed
- Supervise and support direct care associates to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in good standing in the state of operation (or relevant experience)
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Computer processing and electronic medical database experience (preferably with PCC)
- 1 year of experience in an Assisted Living setting
- Ability to be on-call
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
This role requires moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. You may be exposed to chemicals, blood-borne pathogens, and other communicable diseases. You will be required to sit, stand, bend, and move frequently during working hours.
