Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Railserve is a leading provider of in-plant rail switching, transloading, and material handling services. With over 75 locations across North America, we offer a range of services including rail car loading, unloading, track maintenance, inspection, and repair.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is between $20-$26 per hour, depending on experience and location.
Job DescriptionThis Warehouse Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing logistics activities within the facility, including driving a fork truck, accurately supplying lines throughout the facility, communicating with production teams, and documenting downtime reason codes.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Proven work experience in the Logistics department as a Yard Jockey or a similar role
- Familiarity operating yard vehicles, trailers, and containers
- Understanding of inventory systems and databases
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
- Excellent physical dexterity
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Having an eye for detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work for long, flexible hours and on weekends
- Highly motivated and hardworking individual
