Responsibilities
The role involves delivering patient care according to established care plans, unit protocols, and hospital policies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Key responsibilities include:
- Safe transportation of patients using wheelchairs or stretchers, along with appropriate documentation of services rendered.
- Providing observation services for patients requiring constant monitoring, either in-person or through remote video systems, to ensure their safety.
- Performing general receptionist and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the nursing unit.
- Accurate documentation of care provided in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a hospital or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
