Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product development teams to design and optimize electromagnetic components for our products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop simulation plans to predict the behavior of proposed designs using commercial software such as ANSYS Electronics Suite.
- Analyze results, compile reports, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to develop tests that validate simulation results and confirm customer requirements.
- Partner with design teams to resolve unexpected design issues or product failures, leveraging expertise in electromagnetic design and simulation.
- Maintain knowledge of new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes affecting design and design processes.
- Document relevant activities and share expertise with less experienced engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a university with an ABET-accredited undergraduate engineering program is desirable.
- 2+ years of experience in EMC testing, analysis, and/or simulation, with a demonstrated understanding of EMC design theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with CAD software, design tools, and RF test equipment.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.
