Job Summary:
We are seeking mature, responsible individuals to join our team as dishwashers and servers at The Arbors at Westfield, a family-owned and operated assisted living community.
Responsibilities:
- Serving Meals: Provide exceptional customer service to residents while serving meals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including daily mopping of floors, cleaning cookware, and ensuring the dishwasher is always in working order.
- Deep Cleaning: Conduct regular deep-cleaning of all kitchens, including the Reflections kitchen, and dining rooms, following guidelines set forth by the Food Service Director.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order and report any issues to the Food Service Director.
- OSHA Compliance: Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures when using equipment, lifting, and bending, and report any personal accidents or work-related injuries immediately.
Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
- Dietary Experience: Must have demonstrated dietary experience.
- Sensitivity to Residents: Must be sensitive to the needs of elders and disabled individuals.
