SkillBridge Fellowship

Raytheon is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business. During this fellowship, you will work alongside our team of experts and gain hands-on experience with our Patriot missile systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Major Item Repairman to join our team. As a Patriot System Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic systems, including the Patriot Air Defense system. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our systems are functioning at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install authorized third echelon modifications and provide day-to-day execution and oversight of the refurbishment and modification processes.
  • Perform depot-level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup, and repair capability for PATRIOT Weapon System MEIs.
  • Monitor work performed by subordinates to ensure it meets or exceeds established quality standards.
  • Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) programs and assist the section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of field maintenance experience in isolating and correcting malfunctions in the Patriot system.
  • Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include integration and checkout.
  • Ability to obtain a Saudi Arabia work Visa.
Desired Skills
  • Above qualifications plus five (5) years Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check out (SICO) process.
  • Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support.
