Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate individual to support the lead educator in nurturing infants (ages 0 to 12 months) at our learning center. This role encompasses essential tasks such as diaper changes, feeding, supervision, and facilitating developmental activities in accordance with state guidelines and center protocols. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to foster success in our nurturing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of infants through direct supervision
- Engage in caring, affectionate, and constructive interactions with infants
- Monitor and address infants' developmental milestones
- Execute lesson plan activities and evaluate infants' responses
- Collaborate with the lead educator and center director regarding infants' development
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma is mandatory; CDA or Associate degree is preferred
- 6-12 months of experience in a daycare or preschool environment
- Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a positive demeanor
- Legally authorized to work in the USA and proficient in English
- Must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete a thorough background check
