Pediatric Critical Care Nurse

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at AdventHealth for Children, where we provide exceptional care to infants and children who require continuous monitoring. As a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
About the Role:- Assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in unit multidisciplinary family-centered rounds to keep the team and families informed with the most up-to-date information on the patient's condition.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at AdventHealth for Children provides specialized comprehensive care for infants and children who require continuous monitoring. Our unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and features 22 critical care beds that are all centrally monitored.
About the Team:Our team of board-certified pediatric intensivists and specialty-trained pediatric ICU providers are available on the unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have a wide variety of support services available to our patients and families, including pediatric-trained palliative care, nutritionists, pharmacists, social workers, and child life specialists.

Requirements:- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- One (1) year of Pediatric Critical Care experience.
