Job Title: Healthcare Registration Specialist

Job Description: Margaret Mary Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Registration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information, as well as obtaining necessary consents and completing required forms. We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
* Screen visitors at the front desk and obtain written or verbal consents for treatment
* Complete Federal, State, and local forms required for each specific account type
* Greet and log patients as they arrive for services
* Phone appropriate department advising of patient arrival
* Escort patient to appropriate department when indicated or advised
* Print and review all department schedules on a daily/weekly basis
* Pre-register all patients for future services dates, print face sheet, labels, and bracelets
* Complete registration accurately by reviewing existing registrations thereby eliminating duplicate registrations
* Demographic and insurance data obtained and verified on all patients
* Obtain insurance benefits on all inpatient, surgical, and designated outpatient services
* Verify insurance and obtain a copy of the insurance card at each visit

Requirements:
* 2 years relevant experience in a healthcare setting
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong data entry and communication skills
* Ability to operate a computer and other basic office equipment

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
