About the Role:

The Process Safety Engineer will report to the EH&S Department's Process Safety Director and work individually and as part of the Process Safety team to provide Engineering and Field Operations with hazard analysis services, including PHA, PHA Revalidations, LOPA, and Hazard Reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead PHAs and LOPAs
  • Provide hazard analysis services
  • Assist with managing, coordinating, and implementing the PSM standard and the EPA's Risk Management Plan (RMP)
  • Proficient in Primatech PHA software
  • Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience
  • Proficient in HAZOP, What-if Checklist, and FMEA methodologies
  • Experience in ISA 61511
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Normal office working conditions and field work

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing

Occasional overnight travel may be required
