About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Create detailed plans and specifications for construction projects, including post-construction stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, land development, and NPDES permitting.
  • Project Management: Assist the project director in managing the design, permitting, and construction phases of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Construction Administration: Perform site observations and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project directors, engineers, and construction managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Certification: Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in civil design, project management, and construction administration.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of design principles, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and municipal land development and NPDES permitting processes.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
