- BLS/BCLS certification is mandatory.
The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for conducting both standard and advanced sonographic examinations, responding to emergency callbacks, and executing all necessary administrative duties to facilitate patient assessments.
Qualifications- Preferred educational background includes an Associate degree.
- Completion of an accredited ARDMS sonography program is essential.
- Must possess a valid license in the State of Maine.
- ARDMS registration is a requirement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
- Ability to discern grayscale images is necessary.
- Must be a dependable and collaborative team member.
- Capability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
St. Mary's reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within a 13-week contract period.
Additional InformationAll applicants must be fully vaccinated. NO EXEMPTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
