Job Summary:

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and cardiac ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and interpretation by Radiologists and Cardiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all ultrasound techniques and procedures on an individual patient basis.
Selects and operates equipment as directed.
Prepares patient for procedure; explains procedure, assists patient during and after exam.
Cleans and disinfects room and equipment.
Performs quality control and quality assurance as required.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must have certification and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or be registered and certified by the ARRT in another modality (i.e., radiography, MRI, nuclear medicine, etc.) and documented training on the provision of sonography examinations, or completion of the SPI exam in lieu of documented training.
Current BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center.
