Event Streaming Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking skilled event streaming specialists to assist in the live broadcasting of various basketball tournaments in the Lexington region.
Typical Schedule
Saturday: 6am - 10pm
Sunday: 6am - 6pm
Note: This role involves long hours and may not be suitable for everyone.
Event Opportunities
Our events occur monthly, and with our application, you can select which future events you wish to participate in.
Responsibilities
The gig begins at 6am, where you will be responsible for setting up cameras, power supplies, and Wi-Fi connections for each court. Throughout the day, you will monitor the streams, reposition cameras as needed, and dismantle equipment at the end of the event. Comprehensive training will be provided on-site.
Compensation
The pay rate is $16 per hour, with payments processed the Friday following the event via PayPal.
Requirements
- Must possess a vehicle, as you may need to deliver equipment.
- A background check is mandatory and will be sent to you via email.

Additional Information
This role is part-time and primarily on weekends, with some events starting as early as 6am and concluding as late as 10pm. You may be required to travel up to 40 miles one way. Please note that daily shifts can exceed 12 hours, and weekend tournaments may involve over 30 hours of work. This position requires physical stamina, including being on your feet and lifting heavy objects.
BallerTV's Mission
We are a venture-backed startup dedicated to building the largest sports network globally. Our journey began in 2021, when we live-streamed over 350,000 youth tournaments, similar to the early days of ESPN. We are rapidly expanding our sports coverage and transforming the landscape of sports broadcasting.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Completion of a pre-event background check is necessary.
- Familiarity with iOS devices is essential.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to multitask with keen attention to detail.
- A positive and proactive attitude is crucial.
Preferred:
- Experience in live event production, sports, or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge and interest in grassroots sports such as soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, football, and wrestling are a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required for transporting event equipment.
