- Lead and Develop Maintenance Team Members

- Manage Maintenance Shop Operations
- Oversee the maintenance shop's inventory control system to ensure that necessary equipment and parts are available when needed.
- Manage the maintenance shop's budget and ensure that expenses are within approved limits.
- Ensure Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Requirements
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that equipment is in good working condition and that safety procedures are being followed.
- Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex problems with heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Leadership and Communication Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and other departments.
- Ability to provide clear and concise instructions and feedback to team members.
- Business Acumen
- Understanding of business operations and the ability to make decisions that align with business objectives.
- Ability to manage budgets and ensure that expenses are within approved limits.
- Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification required.
- Experience
- 3 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role, supervisor, or other management role requiring a thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations.
