Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, a division of Sentara Health, has a unique opportunity for a full-time board-certified/board-eligible anesthesiologist at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183-bed, Level III, not-for-profit community hospital offering the resources of a major health system with the personalized, compassionate care of a community hospital.

Position Highlights:

  • Employed position with Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists.
  • Care team model covering approximately 9,200 cases each year, including 1,500+ deliveries.
  • 8 anesthesia locations at SNVMC, running Monday through Friday, with 5 rooms in the main OR, endo suite, EP lab/CVIR, and L&D.
  • Cases include general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology, vascular, neuro, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB/GYN, and general pediatrics.
  • Call 1:5, with night and weekend call from home via beeper and post-call day off.
  • CRNA in-house 24/7.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual base salary - $535,000.
  • Quality Performance Incentive - $15,000.
  • Sign on/Commencement Bonus - $90,000 over 3 years.
  • Annual CME Allowance - $7,500.
  • 10-weeks Paid Annual Leave.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package, including medical, dental, vision, short/long-term disability, two retirement plans with Sentara contribution, and much more.
  • Paid Malpractice and Tail Insurance.
