Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct industrial hygiene activities, including qualitative and quantitative surveys, air sampling, and noise assessments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of industrial hygiene programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify potential health and safety hazards and develop recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of industrial hygiene activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and employees on industrial hygiene matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial hygiene or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HAZWOPER certification.
  • DISA clearance.
  • TWIC clearance.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a passport.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent travel to project sites. The Industrial Hygienist II will be required to work in a variety of settings, including industrial facilities, construction sites, and emergency response situations. The position will also require the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.

The Industrial Hygienist II will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

The position will also require the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with frequent communication with clients, employees, and other stakeholders.

The Industrial Hygienist II will be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and to provide technical support and guidance to clients and employees on industrial hygiene matters.

The position will also require the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and to work effectively in a matrix reporting structure.
