Job Title: Urology Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Urology Surgeon to join our team at International SOS Government Medical Services. As a Urology Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including clinic coverage, operative services, intraoperative services, postoperative follow-up, and consultative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a full range of urology operative services, including consultations and examinations.
  • Document findings, initial diagnosis, and treatment plan, as well as any modifications or additions within 24 hours or the day after admission.
  • Make rounds daily or as frequently as necessary for appropriate patient care.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call/call-back coverage, including phone consultations and critical patient care.
  • Approximate case load: 18-20 patients per clinic & 3-5 procedures per surgical session.
  • Approximately 10% of workload will be administrative.
Requirements:
  • Current, full and unrestricted license in one or more state, commonwealth, territory or DC.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology Surgeons.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
  • DEA License.
  • Previous VA or Military experience strongly preferred but not required.
Education:
  • Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/clinic work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
  • US Citizen (Permanent residents can be discussed on a case by case basis).
  • Must be local or relocate to project site for the duration of the contract.
  • Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance and pass VHA credentialing process.

Compensation - Min: $X | Max: $X

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

Benefits - This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional benefits include a 401k plan paid time off and an annual bonus. International SOS complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
