About the Position


The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board is seeking an Engineering Geologist to join our team. As an Engineering Geologist, you will be responsible for permit application reviews, conducting inspections, responding to public inquiries, and writing technical memos and inspection letters.


Key Responsibilities



  • Review permit applications and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Respond to public inquiries and provide technical information
  • Write technical memos and inspection letters
  • Review discharge reports and make recommendations to the Board

Requirements



  • Must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, and the ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license if the position requires driving
