Job Summary

The De Novo Branch Manager is a senior management professional responsible for driving the growth of a new branch through proactive business development activity and community engagement. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies aligned with the Retail Bank's priorities.
  • Create an environment through activity-based coaching and performance development to develop employees' skill sets to achieve individual and branch goals.
  • Support portfolio growth by identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and increase client acquisition, ensuring clients receive optimal service and monitoring operational controls.
  • Collaborate with branch partners to achieve goals, build customer relationships, and deliver customer service.
  • Develop a Center of Influence (COI) network by engaging in business networking and community activities, representing Citibank in the community, and creating local community awareness.
  • Leverage workforce planning tools to optimize staffing in branches and set expectations for branch staff, fostering an environment where team members work together to achieve business goals.
  • Integrate segment partners to drive sales and drive outbound sales activities, including representing Citi and building partnerships in the community.
  • Conduct daily proof processes to ensure adherence to operational requirements, investigate controllable losses among branch staff, and provide coaching and manage performance on decisions used.
  • Lead the hiring process and coordinate performance management, compensation, communication, and employee evaluation of branch staff.
  • Responsible for planning, budgeting, and policy formulation and involved in short-term planning and resource planning.
  • This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before referring interested clients to Citibank for their mortgage needs.
Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial industry preferred.
  • Sales management experience preferred.
  • Registered or willing to register as mortgage loan originator with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates analytic skills.
  • NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.
