Job Summary

At Jabil, we are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Verify incoming materials and store them using a FIFO inventory system
  • Assist in workload management and support colleagues as needed
  • Scan components and sub-assemblies from flow racks, bins, or Kanban locations
  • Maintain certification and proficiency in Assemblers I and II, and support training gaps
  • Participate in department problem-solving and training
  • Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas
  • Execute purge processes as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position
Requirements
  • Ability to calculate quantities of parts to be prepared and ready for use
  • Effective training and support skills for Assembler I
  • Ability to complete department problem-solving
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer, including Windows-based operating systems and related software
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
