Position Summary:

This role is primarily responsible for the transportation of raw and finished goods throughout various stages of production.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  2. Forklift operator certification is preferred (training provided).

  2. Management of raw material inventory, including unloading delivery vehicles.
  3. Coordination of necessary documentation upon material receipt.
  4. Transport of raw materials within the production area.
  5. Transport of chassis through the production area.
  6. Transfer of completed chassis to designated holding or coating areas.
  7. Movement of completed chassis to drying or holding areas.
  8. Maintenance of the exterior yard, including snow removal and grading.
  9. Flexibility to rotate into production team roles as needed.
  10. Assistance with repair tasks as required.

Required Skills:

  1. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Clear verbal and written communication skills (English).
  3. Ability to read and interpret written materials, including work orders and delivery receipts.
  4. Capability to meet production targets and deadlines.
  5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  6. Proficiency in operating a forklift or tractor as necessary.
  7. Familiarity with operating equipment such as radios and measuring tools.
  8. Physical ability to lift and maneuver weights exceeding fifty pounds.
  9. Strong organizational skills.
  10. Effective problem-solving abilities.
  11. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.
  12. Ability to work under physically and mentally demanding conditions.
  13. Capacity to adapt to various climate conditions.
  14. Strong prioritization skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Supervisory Role:

This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities upon hiring.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully execute the essential functions of this role.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. This position necessitates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling. The team member may need to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Personal Protective Equipment is required for this position.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, with expected work hours determined by the manufacturing manager.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is anticipated for this position.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
