Job Title: Estimator for Construction Projects

Job Summary:
Performance Contracting Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator for its Seattle operations based in Woodinville, WA. The successful candidate will work on performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects, establishing labor productivities for estimates, and maintaining positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects
Establish labor productivities for estimates
Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing
Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self-perform group
Understand market conditions, including competitive approach, backlog, level of risk for work, and other factors for establishing margin percentages
Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team
Contract administration for secured projects
Prepare wage and benefit schedules
Assist in the hand-off of secured projects to the Operations Team

Requirements:
At least 3 years of estimating construction projects
Experience with estimating/project management/managing drywall and commercial/industrial scopes of construction
Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCIs scopes of work
Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High level of attention to detail and cost analysis
Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work
Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid
